STRENGTH:Work to a 10 rep max deadlift

WOD:“The Chief”

5 cycles of:

3 minute AMRAP:

3 power cleans 135/85#

6 push ups

9 air squats

Rest 1:00 after each 3 min Amrap

How easy it is to look at a group of people and see them as one thing. I do it all the time when I'm not at the gym. Grocery store, Game Stop, the Bank. I see groups of people. People I don't know. Because I don't know anything about them as individuals, it's easier for my brain to see all of them as one big entity or item. That can be unfortunate because I might be missing out on the very things that make them so unique. Now I'm not going to give you the "everyone is a special snowflake" speech. I'm running out of stickers anyway. But I will say that there have been many times in my life that I didn't take the time to get to know someone and then come to find out they had something really great about them I could have been sharing with them much sooner. A lot of you guys are veterans of our gym but you may notice a wave of new faces here as of late. It's always makes me happy to see you guys make them feel at home. But even beyond that maybe chat it up with them or heck, anyone else you don't know already. You might be surprised at what you find. :)
